Healthy Sour Bean Soup

Ingrediences

  • 1 cup dried beans
  • 5 bay leaves
  • 4-5 potatoes, peeled cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup half cream (12%)
  • 1/2 cup light cream (18%)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • a pinch of ground black pepper
  • 2 1/2 l of water
  • 50 grams butter

Directions

  1. Clean the beans.
  2. Rinse the beans and place them in a large pot.
  3. Pour the water inside the pot and let it rest for 8 hours.
  4. Add the bay leaves into the pot.
  5. Boil the water with beans and let it simmer until half done.
  6. Add the potatoes into the pot.
  7. Stir creams with flour properly in separate jar.
  8. Pour the mixture into the pot through strainer stirring frequently.
  9. Stir in salt, black pepper and suggar.
  10. Cook until the beans and potatoes are done (soft).
  11. Stir in the butter and lemon juice according to taste.
  12. Serve hot.
